Greg and the Grand Gate team have renovated essentially every room in our house over the years, including opening up the main floor living space by removal of a wall and installing a large support beam, creating a beautiful new kitchen and a complete renovation of the main bathroom.
In the fall of 2022, Greg completely redid the entire basement living space and also constructed a new adjoining full bathroom with a fantastic large walk-in shower. The workmanship in every case was absolutely outstanding, with incredible attention to detail. The work was performed on time and on budget according to the schedule, and was approved by inspectors without any issues.
Greg is extremely knowledgeable, pays attention to even the smallest details and offers great suggestions in the design and finish. He is also very personable and a great listener. Greg and the Grand Gate team are simply the best.

This is an e-mail to commend Greg on his work at University Ave. He built a complete 4 Bedroom basement apartment for me and the finished product was above my expectations. He was on budget as quoted. He used above standard materials and fixtures. He built the place as if he were building it to live in himself. His knack for detail, his contacts for the decorating and coordinating of colours was very impressive.
He was very patient and flexible to make changes during the building process.
He also, during the design phase, suggested a change that allowed us to build a 4-bedroom unit instead of a 3 bedroom. This was a huge suggestion by Greg!!
